About Tara

Tara Blackwell Malone holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech (Communications) from Emerson College and a Master's Degree in Community Counseling from Fairfield University. As a Nationally Certified Counselor, Tara has achieved the highest certification in the counseling profession. She is also a Master Career Counselor and a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Tara serves as Assistant Director of Career Development at Purchase College, SUNY. 

Under the philosophy that career development is a lifelong process, Tara works with a variety of clients in different life stages, including high school and college students, adult career changers, and job seekers. Her counseling style empowers clients to take control of their lives, discover their passions, and gain career and life satisfaction!
